"CORRESPONDENCIAS"

"Correspondences" is the title of an exhibition where artists with deep sensitivity have come together, establishing a dialogue between dance, music, poetry and the plastic arts.

Contrasting the fragility of paper, which sometimes reminds me of the fragility of life, is the hardness of metal. Each material has its own expression, and it is the artist's challenge to find his essence through his hands, his body, his mind and his heart.

This exhibition, by important artists such as Juan de Andrés, Marcela Ambrois, Marcelo Larrosa, Judith Britez and Dominique Binet, as well as Giovanna Martinatto, Lucía Martínez, Luis Jubin and Juan Prada, shows once again that through art they build bridges that invite to be traveled to discover new horizons "

"FOUR WALLS"

FOUR WALLS is a contemporary dance work in progress directed by Celia Hope Simpson, with music by John Cage performed live by pianist and composer Juan Prada, exclusively on the white keys of the piano. It seeks to be a physical study of music, a global development about sound in the body, time, space and what is captive, locked up. In turn, this process challenges us, asks us about what place our bodies occupy in relation to limits. What are the pulses for our movement? What underlying limits exist in the musically danced body? What are the choreographic mechanisms that operate in our consumer society?

"BOKEH" BALLET

"Bokeh" is a word of Japanese origin that refers to the "blur" in photography. He It's about a contemporary dance show created by the Uruguayan choreographer Lucia Martínez who investigates the gaze in relation to focus and blurring. Work on that that in photography, in painting, in cinema and even in life itself, it is focused or framed guiding our attention to a certain place. The work is also about the human capacity to understand that that framework in which we usually focus not always speaks of an "ALL". The music was composed especially by the pianist and composer Juan Prada who worked throughout the creative process of the scenes to compose the original music that accompanies the whole work with its variations and that is performed live by the same artist.
